We are now happy to represent one of the most important and best-known piano trios in the world: the Norwegian Grieg Trio. Their „playing was everything one wants from a trio: precise, balanced, beautifully nuanced and shaped in a way that lets a listener see into the music rather than through it.“ The New York Times is usually careful with superlatives – but not, however, when it comes to Grieg Trio’s revered guest performance in the famous Carnegie Hall. The Norwegian ensemble has obtained an excellent reputation over its 25 years of existence and nowadays performs regularly at the great international stages, such as the London Wigmore Hall, the Paris Théatre du Châtelet or the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. On its CD publications as well, Grieg Trio impresses due to its exceptional precision and a unique fine tuning of the trio sound.
